The Sculpture commemorates the Centenary of theCoonawarra Fruit Colony and refers to the special soil
type in the area . . . Terra Rosa, is the red earthsoil on top of porous limestone.
On the front of the sculpture there is carvedimages of fruit trees, that were once in the area.
On the back are images of grape vines that reflect the environmentaround the park today.
